Day 11 - 1/21: I went to Choctaw Casino with my mom tonight. It’s across the river in Durant, Oklahoma (as there are unfortunately no casinos in Texas). We went in with twenty dollars — ten for each of us. She spent five of her dollars and came out with like seven, so she won about two. I spent all ten of mine and came out with $16.51. I was down to $1.50, so I said fuck it, basically, and bet the highest I could on the machine that I was on, and I got $16.50, so I’m pretty happy with the turn of events at the end of the night. We ate at a grill in the casino. I stupidly got a chili cheese dog and it was pretty much disgusting. The cheese was cold. :(  Anyway, I had fun today, but I’m super, super tired.

Day 11 - 1/21:

Day 8 -1/18: So, this happened. That was pretty much my day. Yesterday was even more uneventful and I couldn’t really move by the end of the night, so I kinda skipped it.

Day 6 - 1/16: I went to the cemetery to visit my brother today, and then I went to Waterloo and had a little picnic and sat at the lake for like two hours. It was a very peaceful day.

Day 4 - 1/14: Went shopping with my mom. We also saw New Year’s Eve. Ate at my favorite Mexican restaurant. I took the St. Johns Wort and the SAM-e, and it made me feel a little better. The SAM-e works gradually, though, so maybe by the time my appointment with Dr. Laing rolls around, I’ll be super better? I guess we’ll see. I still need something stronger and long-term, though. And preferably on the $4 prescription list. That’d be nice. And cheaper.

Went shopping with my mom. We also saw New Year’s Eve. Ate at my favorite Mexican restaurant. I took the St. Johns Wort and the SAM-e, and it made me feel a little better. The SAM-e works gradually, though, so maybe by the time my appointment with Dr. Laing rolls around, I’ll be super better? I guess we’ll see. I still need something stronger and long-term, though. And preferably on the $4 prescription list. That’d be nice. And cheaper.

Day 2 - 1/12:  I woke up at 11:30 to get ready to go to Jarrod’s orthopedist appointment in McKinney. I stayed in my room for a bit, because he was still in the shower. I was on my phone and I discovered the Dallas dates for American Idiot: The Musical. I texted Jarrod and ~mysteriously asked him what his plans were for either May 8, 9, or 10. When he got out of the shower, I told him to look at his text messages. He asked me what I was talking about, and I said, “Well, it’s a Broadway show…” and he goes, “American Idiot?” I nodded and that’s when he divulged that he had already talked to his mom and had been planning on surprising me with tickets. So I attacked him a little and squealed. I danced a little in the shower, too. I was quite happy, let me tell you. Anyway… We got to McKinney, and after we finally saw the doctor, he thinks that Jarrod is improving and only wants to see him (after six weeks) if he’s still in pain or starts hurting again. After the doctor, we drove back to Sherman and went to Taco Casa, but they’re closed for renovations until tomorrow, so we went to Taco Bell, and made a stop at Starbucks. I got a decaf, of course, because, unfortunately, regular coffee can literally kill me, so that’s no good. We came back home to eat, and watched the new episode of 30 Rock. It was a nice, kinda lazy day.
